Poor Customer service from 2 store managers
Dear Clicks
Well done on adding numerous stores across South Africa as COIVD-19 vaccinations sites.
As per the following weblink, any 35 year old who is registered on the Department of Heath's website, can walk into a Clicks for a vaccine: https://clicks.co.za/covidvaccine
I visited the Clicks Clearwater Mall store today as I am registered on the above portal and have received a vaccine voucher code. I was however told I am not over 50 and cannot receive my vaccine. I accept this as it is early days for the >35 year old age group BUT the attitude of your 2 managers in the store is of a serious concern to me and really upset me:
1. The dispensary manager sat on a chair with her back to me, with a hoodie pulled over her head and did not acknowledge me at all. She only spoke to the nurse on service. Later she did stood up took my phone from the nurse and took a screenshot of the above website to send to some regional manager. This manager then walked away and even when she was called back by a pharmacist, did not come back to speak to me.
2, Another manager (not sure of which department), joined the nurses room as by this time I was talking to someone at the Clicks call centre, stating I can indeed get vaccinated in the store. This manager repeated I can not get vaccinated in his store, and walked away whilst I was speaking to him, mid sentence.
Please can I get feedback from the Clicks regional manager of Gauteng as to how this type of Customer experience is allowed. My query is not about not getting a vaccine, as I phoned two other Clicks branches confirming I can indeed walk in and will be assisted. I need to know how these two managers think it is normal to treat Customers like this.
Regards
