POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought a Safeway Iron Sole Plate on 10 July 2021 at Click Tygervalley. I tried it out for the 1st time on Wednesday 21 July 2021. My iron started smoking, and the plastic part of sole plate starting almost buckling and becoming hard. My iron switch off and has not been working ever since. I received acknowledgement of my complaint but to date it has not been resolved. I submitted photos and till slips as per their request still no outcome. Same reply every-time its under investigation. The last feedback after I had follow up once again was on 28 August 2021 promising that I will receive feedback last week. To date still nothing even though I have send an follow up email once again. Their customer service is pathetic.
