Poor customer service

On 15 May 2026 at approximately 13h30, I went to Clicks Annan Road, Carletonville to exchange a Clicks 1400w steam iron(Model no. JA-3356, barcode ***769, batch no. ***5) that we found was occasionally tripping the electrical power.

I was assisted by the Manager, Portia Tsime who tested the Clicks steam iron for a few minutes and it did not trip the power.

Portia Tsime told me that since it did not trip the power, there is nothing further that they can do. In her haste to dismiss me Portia proceeded to put the hot steam iron into its cardboard box. I intervened and asked her please allow the iron to cool down.

What is particularly disconcerting is the dismissive attitude from the Manager and leadership of Clicks. We reside in the area and are frequently shop at Clicks Annan Road Carletonville. A little more courtesy would have gone a long way. Carletonville is a relatively small community and Clicks is busy most of the times but it is still no reason to take customers for granted.
