Plastic Schmastic..enough already Clicks

I have contacted Clicks previously about their insistence in wrapping items from their pharmacy (including self medication) in plastic bags and was fobbed off with some company policy jargon. I have asked the pharmacists not to put my purchases in plastic bags but they say they are not allowed to go against company policy. These are single-use plastic bags that go straight into the ******* (at least in my case into recycling) but it is just not acceptable anymore. Most items don't need a plastic bag they can just be added to one's shopping with their label stuck on. I also find the practice of using a cable tie for each purchase unacceptable - there must be an alternative. Each of these takes thousands of years to degrade.
