Pharmacist’s stupidly almost had me ****ed.

I recently emailed clicks about how one of their pharmacists dispensed the wrong dosage of medication for my chronic asthma and they have yet to reply. Instead of giving me what my script required (Symbicord 4,5 160) she insisted I take the symbicord 4,5 80 said to take double the dosage it’s the same thing and that she couldn’t even exchange it as I already left the store, got home and saw it was the wrong pump. I took that pump for 1 1/2 months before complaining to my doctor about constant chest pains, tightness and regular asthma attacks which never happened before. It’s absolutely disgusting that’s clicks hasn’t even rep**** because this is an important issue. Pharmacists should never just give what they think is best for chronic medication alternatives, they are not doctors and should just dispense medication. I am very lucky to have a doctor that could ensure I didn’t do any permanent scaring or damage to my lungs but someone else might not be as fortunate as me, don’t just take what a pharmacist wants to give you. Stick to the script. I now shop at dischem. If you want the name of the pharmacist I will gladly give it to you.
