Outraged at the fact Clicks Pharmacy joked around and refused to give an asthma sufferer medication

I would like to inform you of an incident that happened at the Clicks pharmacy at the Medicross in Hayfields Pietermaritzburg. I went to see the doctor at Medicross as I have bronchitis and I am asthmatic. I called my doctor as when I got home from the pharmacy I realized I had not received Pulmicort for my nebulizer. I called the doctor and she told me to go back to the pharmacy and she would phone the prescription through. I then went back to the pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist and explained that the doctor would phone the script through. The pharmacist proceeded to be rude and told me that they do not accept scripts that are phoned through from the doctor. At this stage it was late so I thought I would leave it for the morning. The next day my mother then went to the pharmacy to collect the Pulmicort. The pharmacist (a different one) apologised to my mother and said they were just joking with me and they do in fact accept telephonic scripts. I am extremely irritated and outraged by this behaviour. I have a sever case of asthma and am extremely ill. I needed my medication for my nebulizer yesterday and I feel horrified that a pharmacist could put a patients life in jeopardy because they felt in the mood for humor. This behaviour is unacceptable and it isnt the first time I have been subjected to this pharmacists unpleasantness. Fortunately I have now received my medication but it is unacceptable that I was treated in such a way when I am sick and in need of my medication.
