Nonexistent Customer Service
I was trying to get information about one of Clicks' products on their website that was interested in ordering. (Under ingredients there was nothing listed.)
+ I tried Clicks' “chat bot”. It is absolutely useless and only wasted my time! + I phoned Clicks' “customer care”. I was told that they could not answer my question and so I asked to be put through to someone who could answer it. I was promptly cut off from the phone call! + I phoned Clicks' head office in Cape Town, but Clicks' phone system is broken and it cut me off after 1 minute every time I phoned. Finally, after phoning back 5 times, I got through to the receptionist and I explained why I was phoning. + The receptionist told me she was putting me through to someone. I was promptly cut off from the phone call! + AGAIN, I phoned Clicks' head office in Cape Town, but Clicks' phone system is broken and it cut me off after 1 minute every time I phoned. I told them but they didn’t seem to understand what “Herm****” is and so I had to repeat it many times. Eventually the customer care agent said that I must phone my local Clicks and speak to the pharmacist there. + I phone the Clicks shop and asked to speak to the manager. I was told the manager was on leave and so I asked the lady I was speaking to if she was in charge. She said yes and so I explained to her what I had been through, simply to get an answer to me question. She said she couldn’t do anything about it because she “just works in the stock room”. I asked her to put me through to the pharmacist but she said the pharmacist was busy and that she could phone me back. I told her I wasn’t going to wait for a phone call and that was prepared to wait only 3 minutes and so she said she would tell them that it is “urgent”. + The pharmacist phoned me back. + The pharmacist proceeded to ask me what my query was and what the product is, and so I gave her the name of the product but she didn’t know what it is and asked me several times the name of the product. I told her the website has a code I could give her butt apparently it is not the code she needed. Eventually she seemed to find the product on her side and she finally gave me an answer to my question. + The product in question is bacteria-based and so I told her that I was shocked that NO information was provided on Clicks’ website and that NOBODY knew what was in it. I’m pretty sure that by regulations you MUST publish the ingredients of such products. I told the pharmacist that and she said it’s not her responsibility. + I subsequently received an e-mail from Clicks' "service" e-mail address, asking me 'how they could assist'. I recounted my experience to them, to which they never rep**** or responded.
Clicks is clearly an absolutely dismal company with no desire to improve.
