No service with legal threads

I purchased a hair straightener from Clicks in Aliwal North with a warranty of 2 years. The wiring in the product is defective, yet the product itself remains undamaged. It appeared that the staff were inclined to find reasons to deny an exchange. I insisted on knowing the names of the manager and the staff member who assisted me, as they represent the Clicks brand. However, they refused to disclose their names, and the manager even threatened me with legal action for defamation. This seems to be Clicks' approach to handling customers - resorting to legal threats when faced with potential exposure. I have attached the slip detailing their return policy, which does not support the discriminatory behavior exhibited by the staff.
