No pride in service delivery
I raced to Clicks Southdowns today in my lunch hour to get my monthly necessities there. I spent a full 50 minutes carefully choosing my products. When it was my turn to pay for the products, I see a note there on the till saying that they have been experiencing network problems and that they only accept cash. So I ask the woman at the till, why this information is not displayed at the door, before entering and before spending almost an hour shopping there only to be told that no cash, no service. She tells me that there is an ABSA around the corner and that I must go draw money there. I tell her I am from FNB and that drawing money there will cost me money and she goes on to tell me that that's my problem. I tell them to put a sign on the door and she does do that, but not before 5 other people have also abandoned their groceries and left Clicks. Please note that there is no way of seeing the \no cards only cash"sign until you are at the very front of the q. So clicks takes a chance of hoping people will go draw money at the Absa instead of letting them know before entering their shop that there is a payment problem. I think it is dishonest. Apart from wasting my time!"""
