NO ENTRY WITH A TROLLEY IN A MALL

I am not impressed. I went to the Clicks at the Boardwalk mall in Richardsbay in 16/04/2025 @ around 10h00/11h00. This is a mall. I had done my Purchases at other stores in the mall and had a trolley with me. I got stopped by security at the door telling me to leave my trolley with close to R5000 worth of groceries at the door. I am not allowed to enter with a trolley. I then asked to speak to a store manager. The guy (I refer to him as a guy, as he was not a manager/a gentleman) Lindokuhle Ntuli was called as he was walking toward the back of the store. He ignored the staff calling him and I was left to stand at the front of the store. The Cashiers desk, got onto the intercom and called him again. He eventually dragged himself to me. I proceeded to explain the situation and asked him if customers were not trusted, how do we trust clicks with our belongings? I asked him if something were to go missing from the trolley, who would be held responsible? He said the store, which you & I both know is untrue. He then called me aside toward the cashiers. He claimed Trolleys were not permitted because it was a 'Small store' the Aisles were apparently too narrow especially at the cashiers. I then proceeded to demonstrate that this was not true as I could get the trolley comfortably within the aisle at the cashiers, He claimed its because the store was not full. I told him I was taking to social media to which his response was that I could go ahead. Head office can't tell them how to run their store. When asked for signage that no Trolleys were permitted, he had no response. I told him that I shopped at Empangeni, which was a smaller store and there was no such, however he insisted. I eventually walked out. I was going to Purchase my medication which normally costs around R2000. I took my business elsewhere as Clicks obviously did not value me as a customer. FOLLOWUP, CLICKS GOT THIS SAME MANAGER, WHO SAID HIS NAME WAS SOMEONE ELSE AND LAUGHED DURING OUR CONVERSATION. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL BACK AFTER VIEWING THE CCTV FOOTAGE, WHICH I GUESS WAS NOT DONE AS THIS WAS THE SAME PERSON WHO CALLED ME. *** on Facebook
