No Customer Services!! Goods scanned, charged at Higher Prices than advertised.
Hello. I've had some frustrating experiences at Clicks in Eastgate of late. Quite a few times in the recent items scan at a higher price than what is displayed on the shelf.
Another aspect is that specials - 3 for 2, etc, are not clearly described.
As a result of either of these situations, the goods scan at higher prices and it's not picked up, except for when I notice it.
Then it is an inconvenience because it has to be proven that what I'm saying is right, and this takes up more time than I planned to spend there. Very frustrating.
And to add insult to injury, I'm told that the best that can then be done, is to give me the items for the same prices as was advertised. This is not fair to customers. I expect that if this were publicized in the open, more people would attest to these experiences and voice their views of this being unfair. So I have considered doing this and have repeatedly mentioned this to Clicks management there.
This happened again yesterday, with the same responses. Frustrating and unfair.
Other large stores like Pick n Pay and Woolworths, where I also shop regularly, compensate customers with a free item or discount when their systems or prices are wrong.
I believe that Clicks need to take some downside for such errors. Effectively, the revenue from incorrect pricing goes straight to Clicks' bottom line - tantamount to theft.
Failing any satisfaction with their management - who tried to convince me to not complain, I have tried to send the above complaint to Click via their ClubCard website - but this does not work. Also tried to send to their Customer Services - that hyperlink on their website is inactive so one can't contact them that way. In resetting my password via the Club Card site, I received an email from their Customer Services email address, so I sent the above complaint to that email address.... But!!! I received an email saying that that address cannot be reached!
So much for Customer Services! Perhaps their leadership need some lessons in this area of business.
Thank you.
Sivan
