Misleading promotion and very

Dear Clicks Customer Care,

I hope this message finds you well.

I would like to raise a concern regarding a recent in-store experience with your current 3-for-2 D’licious promotion and unhelpful store manager. The promotional label clearly states:

“3 for 2 – D’licious Cookies, Biscuits, Wafers, Nougat 125 g or 150 g, Turkish Delight 255 g or Truffles 200 g (Excl. Wafer Tins 370 g), cheapest 1 FREE.”

Based on the wording, it appears that customers may mix and match any of the listed D’licious products as part of the 3-for-2 offer, with the cheapest item being free — as is standard with similar Clicks promotions.

However, when I purchased my items, I was informed by the store manager that the promotion only applies if I purchase three of the same product type, and that “the word or means you must choose one product type and stick to it.” As a result, I was charged full price for all items.

This interpretation does not seem consistent with how the promotion is presented, and several customers in the store also found the signage misleading.

I would appreciate it if Clicks could please: 1. Review this promotion for clearer communication going forward, and 2. Consider a refund or store credit for the difference I should have received under the “3-for-2” promotion.
