Misleading advertising by Clicks - 3 for 2 Specials.

I was at branch in Benoni yesterday. Saw the 3 for 2 advertising as well as the purple stickers on most items there. Knowing what the special entail I chose the items amongst others and paid at the till. Upon leaving I checked my till slip - yes no discount. I verified my items had the purple sticker and proceeded to ask a staff member who was casually standing at the tills about this. He quickly mentioned the specials only start 7 Nov. So why on earth is there advertising and stickers for this special on the shelves? Surely you can only do this when the special actually started? Misleading and false advertising if you ask me. It's disgusting that Clicks would con their clients like this.
