Misleading advertising.

Currently Clicks is advertising Herbex Attack The Fat syrup. Claims made: breaks down fat, controls appetite, burns calories, cleanses the body, mild laxative, aids digestion and increases metabolism = assured fat loss. Drinking Herbex twice a day, will ensure fat loss. I bought a 300ml bottle at R199. After purchase, I decided to read up on this weight loss syrup. I was amazed that there is no scientific evidence that this syrup works. There have been no scientific trials to confirm the claims made by the manufacturer. As disturbing as this is, and that this is being promoted by a 'family' pharmacy, is the fact that the advertising watch dog is asleep. This is nothing less than misleading.
