Misleading advertising

Dear Hello Peter Team,

I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a matter of false and misleading advertising at the Clicks store located in Middestad Mall. As a long-time customer, I am deeply concerned about an experience I had on 07/08/2024.

Clicks Middestad Mall advertised a special promotion on Lifebuoy bath soaps, stating that two bars were on special. However, upon reaching the checkout, I was informed by the cashier that the Lifebuoy Charcoal Mint variant was excluded from this promotion. This exclusion was not indicated on any of the promotional signage displayed on the shelves.

This omission is not only deceptive but also contravenes the principles of honest advertising. Customers rely on the information presented to make informed purchasing decisions, and any ambiguity or misrepresentation can lead to frustration and a loss of trust in the brand. This incident has not only inconvenienced me but also raises concerns about the store's commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction.

I request that Hello Peter investigate this matter.
