Mavala nail ointment that should have been removed from the shelves.

I bought a nail growth product at Clicks Melrose Arch in April and started using it 2 weeks after I had bought it. When I opened the box I noticed that the lid of the Ointment container was broken and been fixed with a tape. By the time I couldn't return the item because i don’t have the receipt anymore. Now every time I use the product, I have to be careful of the glued shards. Clicks should not have sold me this item, they should have removed it from the shop.
