Long expired items still on shelves.

On the 12th of August 2020, I bought Mango Strips (Smartbite foods) from Clicks in Flora Centre at 15:13:34...from Cashier Khobonina C0015 #1987 Clubcard# *** .... Receipt total R759.53

Feeling extremely hungry I started feeding on the Mango Strips. It was at about 6pm when I started feeling like I was coming down with a cold and a headache and not long after that I started with diarrhea. I couldn't understand what was wrong with me as ALL I had was almost a full pack of 400g mango strips. It was only when my brother arrived home took a few (since there where on the kitchen counter) and asked if the mango strips were still fine to eat. When I asked him why he was asking, he immediately looked at the expiry date only to find that these Mango strips have got Best Before date of the 10th June 2020....batch No:25319.

That explained my diarrhea, my all of a sudden high temperature and feeling of getting a cold. By 7pm my condition had worsened and our family doctor had to be called in.

I felt I couldn't wait for tomorrow to complain and make Clicks Flora Centre know how sick I am from still having expired products on their shelves. I mean we are in August and they have items that long expired in June on their shelves, which resulted in me falling extremely ill.
