Legal \ i was not a customer of clicks , i was literally fetched from outside the shop , acroos their shop...having luch and accused of being a ********

Firdtly i have no words to explain how i feel, it is literally undescribrable as i have never ever been so humiliated, so angry , belittled the anger that even came out on this day literally drained me so much. I was beyond livid and shook...my body just couldnt take the emotion distress i was goingrhrough. I went into shock. What makes me so so so angry is the fact that i havent even been to this mall in over a year , and secondly the fact that the retailer that defamed my character and is accusing me of the downright incident of a crimimal i have not even used or entered their premises. My day planned was to go have something to eat after we go, in which we came from an uber while i was minding her 2 month and 1 day daughter waiting for my cousin while she did her interview opposite panarrotti and then when she was done we went for something to eat at BurgerKing where we had just got in and barely touched our food. I used the bathroom in the mall and i then went to the restuarant and tried to settle down as im about to have brunch ...first meal of the day... I was busy sorting out myself and ii made a call when 2 securitt officers came to our table ... I acknowledges them said hi but proceeded with my phonecall and my cousin was talkingto them. I finish my call and i try to catch up on the conversation they were having... I didnt even understand wny the were invading our space and they asked us when last we used went to clicks ? I was puzzled cause my answer was i havent been to this mall in over a year.. My cousins asks why ? The security says to her no we have been identified by a Clicks staff member that we stole at the retailer. I have never been so confused infact i was so pizzled my cousin even said is this some kind of joke or a prank ? They continued to enterrogate us and bombard our space and you can imagine hownfrustrated im feeling as we not doing what we came there to do which is grab some birgers quickly , do a kittle bit of catching up before parting ways. We have not seen each other in over a year and the reason why we didnt part immediately after Lebo was done with her interview was exactly to catch up.. We didnt do that instead we were attacked and harrassed by *********** staff who were not even sure of what the procedure or protocol was before coming to us and when we told them we dont know what their talking about , he did not leave he continued to invade our space and not leave us alone. His radio was noisy and didnt give us space...never apologised for coming into our space and caudin comotion and unneccessary attention and drama to us for something we dont even know about. Hebthen contibued to speak to someone on his radio how he recieved a panic and he is busy handling the matter. I felt so violated and treted like a crimin for no apparent reason We continued us telling the guy that it cant be , we literally just got here, we havent been to Clocks. As if that was enough he asks us to get up with the kids so we cn go to Clicks. He had a picture on his tablet he looked t it and i wasnt sure what was going on... Then we said hebsould send whoever that person to come and tell us what he is talking about ? So he radios ... I was getting a little bit irriated now as i have people standing over me , invading my space...i have no idea what they are talking about...the alledged staff me!eber is raking so long and i just want to et my food and go and i cannot do that because of this whole commosion and now were waiting for the Clicks staff to come so they can leave us alone already. Finlly he gets here and wantnto hear what's going on ..my cousins is speaking to him...so he answers my cousins question all i heard was notntou but her ...she was at the shop yesterday! I was shocked !!!! Im like what ??? Me ??? Are you sure ??? Dontou know whwn last i came to this mall and youre nowntelling me i ws ko Clicks yesterday ? He was like its you... Im like you gotta be kidding , show me where i was . he was oointing fingers t me and continued to say yes its you , ke wena you were here !!! And he was so ride and loud and i was like dude youre mistaken he was not having it. I got so upset and we started arguing and he was telling me to shhhhh and i am like dont shhh me , youre coming here accusing me andnyoure so adament about it. The security guard asked him are you sure , are admant this is the person you saw yesterday, these were his exact words ... He said yes its her . i asked based on what are you accusing me of , i requested to see the footage that plaved me here at the mall as i soaid i havent been here , i also wanted to see what these people are talking about ... So the guard suggested we fo to clicks and theyll show us what they have and we cant sort out the issue there. So we hd to take oir things and go to Clicks...so we go to clicks and we go there , they escort us ... We go in and fo to the offices at the back we find two ladies . as we go in Nomfundo gets on the phone and i speak to Lesego in a fit because i cannot believe what had just happened ...they were so absent minded and blank when Nomfundo was done on the pbone shae asked me whats foing on? I hen repeat the story about what happened and how i was now according to they staff member a shoplifter.. So she was like she doesnt anyting but wht she can tell me was they was an incident tht happened the day before where they had a shoplifting incident where two ladies alledgedly usedbthe store and tried to pay and theyre sale was declined and they left the items in the from. She said she was handed the bad but never saw the culprits...so i tel! Her that now Martin her staff member came and pointed at me saying it was me it was me and i ws never at Clicks nevermind the mall in over a year... So can we please see the footage of me being in the mall and me being in Clicks ....she closed up because while we were waiting i requested Martin to come and tell us where and what information he has and where he gets off going around accusing inncocent people of ******** acts ? We waited and waited for Martin, they say he is on a smoke break so we wait and wait and wait ...There is two more guys , one in security uniform and another in casual clothes with a cap... Hebis arguing with my cousin whike we wait for Martin. So were still not going anywhere time is going and we want to see the evidence ... Nomfundo is saying nothing then Phili comex in and he adresses us asks what is going on ...the first thing i sked him is who is he and what his job title cause im etting tired of just explaining what happened and nothing happens. He said he was the security manger and we asked in charge of what and he said everyrhing cause we wanted the mall manager he continies to say he manages everything about the mall including the security staff so we tell him wht happened and we asked to see why i have been accused of this gross ct , what is it based on and i would like to see footage and a picture of whoever it is im being compared too as Martin is so convinced it me ...as we still continue to wait for him ...we see the pic and we look at the pocture its not me and the person just happened to have a baby carrier thats all. So im being accused becaus the only thing we have that is similar is tht the real crimina is wearing a baby arrier thats it. I was so mad !!!! Finallt Martin comes and were still listening to he decided now to not be a part of the situation or handle it as he an see tht the staff was wrong When he speaks and when we show him the picture that he shouldve have used before approaching and accusing me i ask him to look at the picture and please me if that person is me. His response was sorry the person slightly looks like you. That sent me to wall.. That was not what he confidently said at BurgerKing when he confidently pointed at me. I asked him dude are sure becaise i was simply giving him the opportunity to double check his facts and abruptly was pointing aggressively and loudly at the top of his lungs yes its you . So the manager passively did not say anything, did not iniatiate anything , she didnt take control of the situation as we were at the ,clicks offices. I couldnt understand why i was there , why im still there how is this going to be rectified... I left my meal , my time is wasted , im humiliated , belittled and accused of a crime i dont even know. Im carrying my baby that knows nothing thats going on ...im bombared and escorted in public like a ********, im treated like a ******** and all this hapening after a false allegation from a staff member who left his work facilty sent by his superviso Tebogo who said according to Martin that the girls who stole yesterday are at BurgerKing and none of the managers have any idea of what is happening on the floor of their staff . Clicks memebers are busy harrasing patrons of the public who are using their time to do what they want and are not in anyway a nuisancento the public but were mistreated and handles in that manner by a troop of misinformed accused. I felt violated i felt my child was very violated, we were in a confined space with lots of staff who didnt have their facts straight to begin with.Martin mentioned who sent him and Nomfundo pretended to call Tebogo and her and Lesego had a consensus and decided he annot keave the front. He started the whoke chain of events by misinforming Martin and he was convinced to an extent that Martin behaved in the manner that he did because he had no question in his mind that it was me. The gentlemen that were there because now they see that they mishandles the situation started to change theirntune and become aggresivebtowards us when we requested to speak to the mall manager...He had an outburst that why are we delegating and ordering them around. I was taken aback because the reason why were there to begin with is because of them and now i need to know why and how they came about the conclusion and why were we been harrassed and we also would like to put in writting our experience of the whole thing. They became so aggresive and passive. Lesego even said that they probably have knocked off... As it is Friday. They witheld informtion that we needed all of a sudden the guy in the cap then said we can take anything we likeHow belittlin was that, we dont even know who or what he does and he was just going on about himself and harrassing my cousin. Numerous times i asked him what is his position so he can let us know wht he was there for and what he can do. Other than that he was just a distraction and really didnt need to even be there. We were cinfined in a small office with alot of people mainly being Excellence security troops and ,clicks staff memebs and the random casual guy later hoined by Philane who introduced himself with him in control of everything at the mall and him alerting Roi and another person... We didnt even know who he was talking about at that time...He said everyone knows about tis incident accordingto what he said...Then continies to threaten us about calling the police and no questiins being asked. No clicks staff !emeber took the initiative to direct this whole engagement , ots as thoigh theyre werent there. We had to endure being tormented or threatened by each individual and withoit anyone acknowledging the little people we had with us. So we hear out Philane ...i couldnt understand seing since he was here and and he knew what had happened what his intention was because i had to initiate all the evidence i initiated and requested for the footage... It was only when finally the security guard gives us the picture we then verify that the person in the pocture is not me. It took a brief sec to just have a look and before someone grossly accuses someone of such a degrading act checks first before attacking innocent patrons enjoying their time at the mall aoth their kids. To him we are shoplifting mothers who are not allowed to have time out at Rosebank mall at Burgerking. According to him our time is not important , what we choose to do with it, he can come and disturb our peace and come and publicly humilate mothers in other retailers. He thinks it is a normal act to walk around accusing people of such gross acts and thinks its okay to take away someones right to dignity as a mother in a store. Being accused like this when i have never even entered this store makes me so sick to my stomach...the fact that i left home with the intention of doing what i had planned for my day and coming home irritated, aggitated , annoyed by incompetant staff members who harrass members of the public. No i im no longer comfortable with going to malls let alone Rosebank mall simply because like i say you go out the house with the intention of running your errands but to someone you look like a ********. Someone comes and attacks you in you face for no apparent reason. I do want everyone to tell me why they handled this matter so poorly and i do want every singke person to be held accountable for their actions. Not just my time, dignity, humility, my rights were violated but my sons too. He had his dignity stripped too... Further more Martin says he was sent by Tebogo and him and Betty had the notion that im the shoplifter who stole at the sore the day before. He felt really stupid after realising that he took directive from someone who wasnt sure himself...That did not check his facts but just sent him and he wanted to play hero...and took the onus to take the title of the harrasing staff member from Clicks. When He realised his blunder that he did not check his facts first you could see the change in his face of him reaising he just did something completely wrong. He attacked someones character someone who doesnt know him, when he was given the second opportunity he still confidently and loudly continued to embarrass me and my family had the nerve to hushhh us up and continue to be aggressive.. People go to jail for mistaken identity everyday and because of Martin, i couldve been one of those statistics. We can speak of couldve, shoulve ,would have but this is exactly what staff memebers shouldve have done and rather have gambled with that that having to wrongfully accuse a mother . i dont even see the motive or reason as to me being accused as the inly thing you can say attaches me to the picture that was shown was the fact that the ladt was wearing aa baby carrier. Thats all, and that means the only tging they had to work on was the fact im a motherbecause me and the girl on the picture do not look alike. Apart from the fact that Philane **** to me bout letting Roi know about what was going on...im disgusted...i went to centre management and said he knows nothing about whats going , the only incident he knows about was the one that happened the day before. I requested to see footage there and the picture of the girl whom i was mistaken for, Mandla said we need to lay a charge at the police and only then an investigating officer will have it not even me...Ibtried to explain that how could i be accused of something and i am not even able to see what it is that i am being accused of ...i want to see the footage... He gave me their business cards and recommend if i wabted info that is the route i will have to follow...but Monday he will have to hear thipe security guards side of the story and will be in contact... We left and went to the police station ...we are walking by the way and we have our kids and ontop of it all i had not eaten for the day...my brunch was interrupted remember...we get to the police and tell them the story and we would like to a lay a charge, they explain we cant open a ******** case, they advised us that weve been misled and misinformed by everyone...we needed ro pit everything on paper and it is a civil matter. They said we were entitled to see thebfootage and the centre management should be able to provide that...so we should go back and put it all in writting at centre management, at the seciurity company and clicks aswell. That is exacrly what we did, i went bqck to the centre management offices they were closed, i went down to the security compant and asked to lodge a complaint , Philane was closed off amd i had to ask questions in order to get any answers. I asked him for his superiors email adress and contact number and the complaints contact details aswell as the head office contact numbers. He was slightly annoyed but had no choice...i asked him again to clearly state was his position is and he only now clears it up... He is the soft s****s manager something to that effect, not the mall manager or the managerbthat runs everyrhing at the mall as he confidently said the first time he introduced himself and afyer realising him and his incompetence and negligence of his staff pulled out of his titled and mentioned something elscontactnt to Clicks and it was exactly what i saw the first time, people walking around and not working...that is why they have time to solicit and plan such acts against inmocent people. I asked for conract details and email adresses for the senior. I asked for contact details of the head office and the complaints department. Inasked what the procedure is when a customer complaints .... Im annoyed at the fact that Nomfundo **** to me and Lesego aswell.. This isnregarding whenshe had ro cll relevabt parties to the office. The only person she didnt maind calling was the security staff...other than that she had her foot out the door , she was not engaging in a manner a manager should, she didnt take iniative and she didnt have empathy she was not helpful either.
