Incorrectly Accused

i was shopping at Clicks , they have not seen me since . i left the store and went to another store in the Mall. next thing a member of staff comes rushing up to me with a security guard and asks very loudly \WHERE ARE MY EARRINGS\" in front of witnesses and staff at the shop. I had been looking at a necklace at their costume jewellery and had noticed it was broken so i put it back , i showed her my bag and told her as i was totally shocked NOT to mention embarrassed that I had no earrings but had looked at a necklace , After her commotion she turned and said never mind !!! . The staff at the shop where i was were disgusted. i returned to get her name , explained to the Manager and he just apologised . i called the store a day or two later and contacted the area manager , she was going to escalate my complaint - Guess what - about 6 months later and it is SWEPT UNDER THE CARPET"
