Incorrect information given

I bought a vacuum flask and it's 9 days after the guarantee. The Vangate Mall store manager advise that there is no guarantee on their non electrical appliances however the Vacuum flask has a tag quoting the following "Clicks PROMISE... That all defective homeware merchandise may be returned within 12 months from date of purchase as per our returns / exchange policy excluding defects arising from normal wear and tear" Goes to show how much the Store manager knows about their products and promise tags.
