I demand exchange

I bought saveway heater last May 2020 at the groove mall this week on monday because it was cold i noticed that it was not switch on....yesterday i took for exchanges or repair to Clicks Denlyn Mall i spoke to the manager her name is Lettie Molowisa she was super rude she did provide solution or help me she was very aggressive and she left me on the counter. According to the clicks policy damaged or defective products can be replaced, repaired or refunded up to 12 months from date of purchase in any clicks store. Yet she telling me i should go to the Grove Mall where i bought it because i dont have receipt and i explained to her that i don't have have i am only doing exchange or repair not a refund
