Humidifier

Apologies for my grammar and spelling

I bought a humidifier a clicks brand it is a the 5 liter one in March

So a few weeks after buying the humidifier it starts to leak so I took it back to clicks and they told me maybe my room it's to small that's why I found water on the surface or should put it on the floor far from everything because they tested it and it was fine so I took it went home with it, I can't change the size of my room but I can try to put it on the floor

It's even worse now, I can not fill it up it has to be half full but it's a 5 liter humidifier I can not leave it with water in it every time when I switch it off I need to empty the container even it it is for a few minutes When the water is almost finish it leaks water If you move it while it is still on it leaks, It is 3am I am up because I was mopping the floor now I can not sleep Please help me maybe I am doing it wrong or don't know how it works
