Horrible Service - Clicks Northgate

Good day

I’m writing to complain about the horrible attitude, treatment , and absolutely disgusting behaviour from one of your staff at click Northgate .

On the 20th of August 2025 , my partner and I went to clicks Northgate , got a ticket for self medication, got served by a short dark/brown skinned gentleman with glasses , assuming his Venda because he had an accent , we wanted pain meds and he said you were out of stock but suggested a similar product but his tone and attitude was not great, we ended up leaving it but my partner later went back to get the alternative.

Then on the 21st of August 2025 , we went back to clicks to get a few essentials and we Went to the self medication ( but I noticed the same gentleman from yesterday kept staring at us more especially my partner ) but I didn’t mind it .

We got a ticket and another gentleman served us as that gentleman was serving us , that man from the day before left his post and came to where we were being helped , stood next to the gentleman, smiled and kept staring at my partner for almost 20 seconds and then proceeded to ask us “ why are you guys always together “ with a weird smirk , and I proceeded to tell him she’s my partner .

Then he started laughing as though to mock us, because I had my work uniform on , he started saying there’s no way you guys can be together because of his uniform and proceeded to make everyone uncomfortable with his tone that was very demeaning, assuming that I can’t be with who I am with because of his own personal beliefs and judgement. Mind you he wasn’t the one serving us but left his work post to come and say all this nonsense .

I work in customer service as well , I do not make it my business to interrogate customers about their personal lives and I do not leave my work post to come and undermine and judge people .

He’s work colleague whom was helping us had to step in to stop him from the things he saying because he clearly made me and my partner very much uncomfortable.

I am greatly disappointed with the service I received today and don’t believe clicks would have such employees around .

As a customer and an employee that also works in customer service ? That is very distasteful .
