Helping a ***** get away

A man stole my phone out of my handbag. Due to myself feeling him bump my handbag I reacted quickly and had my friend call it as it was out of my bag.

As she called I heard it rang in the store and followed him as he had fled to the last Isle where I told him to return my phone (I had not yet been in the isle till then). I grabbed it from his hand and called the security.

I asked the staff to call the police to have him arrested, but they did nothing, despite two witnesses they just let him leave the store to carry on his ******** activities, just because he **** and said he picked it up he did not *****. I asked them to check the cameras but was informed they have none.

I have been told afterward that they do have cameras. Had I not been in shock and feeling so helpless I would have thought to take videos or a photo, but I did not at that time.

I would like to get hold of the owner to find out if their is cameras to get the footage and put this ***** behind bars,
