Gift voucher can’t be used

Received a R500 gift voucher at Xmas as a gift, tried 3x to use it at Clicks, Garden Centre, Lorraine, Port Elizabeth and every time the till would not accept the code, staff even phoned for help and unresolved. A bit disgusting that Clicks had the money in the bank mid December but the voucher can’t be redeemed fir the purpose intended.
