Fustrated ?

Yesterday(28.06.21) I went to Clicks Cradlestone returning a BK iron that i bought in November 2020.They asked me if i wanted a refund or im exchanging, i said i want to exchange it, i took the same brand bt a different colour, when i get back to the cashier supervisor told me that they cannot give me because of the colour and barcode is not the same, i need to pay the difference, i told them i dnt have money and they said i need to take something for R189, i refused they said there's nothing they can do, i asked them to refund me and they refunded me R189...why would they refund me R189 instead of R299 or give a new iron? Im so angry with their service, because the iron was R379 and i got R80 off since it was on special...im so disappointed with Clicks
