False stock advertising and zero follow‑up – pathetic service

I placed an online order (13 Feb) for 2 × Safeway Salon Series Hot Air Styling Set 1000W during a promotion that clearly advertised “online stock”. Hours later the status switched to “no stock”, even though the same product is readily available in several Clicks stores. If stores have it, why advertise online stock that doesn’t exist? The promotion is still live, yet my order was cancelled for lack of inventory. In the email they also stated I would receive a call regarding my refund, several days has passed yet I received no call.

I emailed customer care the same day (13 Feb) regarding my dissatisfaction. To date (17 Feb) I have no response to my email. The lack of communication is unacceptable.

Bottom line: misleading stock claims, a promotion that remains active while orders are cancelled, and completely absent customer service. Pathetic service to say the least.
