False advertising

Good day,

I am keeping fit but was looking for an entry-level heart-rate monitor to integrate with Vitality so that I can achieve my weekly goals easier. I went onto Clicks' website and bought a Polar FT7 watch for almost R1000 given that it had the tick for integration with Vitality. Only to find out upon receiving the device that it needs another 'flowlink data transfer unit' to have the data uploaded manually to any computer/ Vitality's website. I called the Clicks in Pinehurst and after holding for 10minutes and speaking to 5 different people, they put down the phone in my ear. I then called Clicks Graanendal where they were very helpful and friendly and promised me they'd get back to me. They did, but they told me that Clicks does not stock that device any longer and I would need to contact head office who would need to contact a rep.

In my opinion this is false advertising as Clicks are promoting a health device which is able to integrate with Vitality, but they do not stock the equipment that makes one able to do so and they don't tell you that you need to spend more money to be able to do so. I expect somebody to call me to explain this as I either want a refund and buy a different device, or I'd like to receive this flowlink data transfer unit at no cost.
