Falls advertising...!

Clicks had a promotion of buy any 3 boxed chocolates and get the cheapest free. No terms and conditions logo and no other information, but when I whent to pay they told me I can only use the promotion if all the product are from the same brand. Why are they not held accountable for falls advertising?
