Disgusted by lack of compassion of employees during SA Lockdown

I was appalled by the lack of compassion your employees at Galleria Mall showed. During such a pandemic where strict measures ought to be taken to protect customers, compassion towards customers is also a necessity. I was disgusted by the manner your employees conducted themselves upon enquiring if elderly people aren’t allowed to walk in. I was quite appalled by the response I received which was “they’ve been standing the whole day and should stand like everyone else,we won’t be told what to do by you.” I was not accompanying an elderly person but actually stood infront a couple and could not imagine how they were coping with the long waits and standing outside,if I as a young person could not take it much. I find it quite disgusting that through this difficult time we’re facing as a country our youth lacks compassion and courteous respect towards elderly people. Prior to going to Clicks,I was at Pick n Pay Galleria,they took the time to continuously walk the long queues looking for the elderly so they could be let through to purchase their essential goods and not have to wait. I expected the same courtesy to be provided at Clicks but no,I was bombarded with nothing but rude employees who just looked at me as if I was crazy and quite frankly laughed in my face.
