Disgusted

I am utterly disgusted with the treatment that I received from Abdul Lee at Clicks Vangate to the point where me, my friends and my family will never set foot at that store again.

I walked in to the store today to do my shopping as per usual and when I was at the door with my trolley I was greeted by Abdul who searched each and every bag in my trolley and I have no idea what he was looking for, I have never been so belittled in my life as it felt like racial profiling, other clients who had trolleys walked in before me and the bags in their trolleys were not searched because they were of a different race. I have never thought of clicks as a ****** store and I am not one to pull the racial card but after today it was very clear that my bags were searched because I am black.

When I asked why he was searching mine only he said it was because the other clients had a woolworths trolley and I had spar, to me that does not make sense as these are all retail stores who sell the same brands infact I also had woolworths products in my trolley as well.

I have been a Clicks client for such a long time but after the embarrassment that I have experienced today because of my skin colour my perception of the store has changed completely.
