Discourteous Dispensary Service by Pharmacy Manager

As a pharmacist on holiday last week, I approached Clicks Ballito Junction dispensary and asked the pharmacist assistant if they can please sell me Travacort as an emergency. I asked her to please tell the pharmacy manager if she could do me a professional courtesy, which is legally allowed. The pharmacy manager was out of plain sight in a corner of the dispensary. The assistant came back after a while and said the pharmacist declined and directed me to East Coast Pharmacy to get the product. Firstly, in all this, the pharmacist, whom I know personally as I worked at the branch before, did not have the courtesy of coming out herself and relaying the message to me. Secondly, she failed to perform her duties as a pharmacist and offer me advise on alternatives that could be available. It so happened, that the assistant at East Coast Pharmacy was super : he offered me an alternative to Travacort, which was R100 cheaper (generic), and was descheduled to S2 now so I could buy it without a script. I was ready to buy goods for about R4-5000 from Clicks Ballito as I was on holiday, however, after the rudeness of the pharmacy manager, I left my basket of goods back and walked out of the store. I will never shop at Ballito Junction Clicks again as long was rude managers are on duty.
