DAMAGED KETTLE

My kettle just dont want to work this morning,I then decided to go and exchange it at a Clicks Store.They told me that they wont exchange it since i dont have a receipt.I told the lady that i experienced the same problem with my old kettle and they took my receipt when they exchanged the first one.So now I dont a receipt and the box,and now the kettle is damaged<br> <br> So my question is....Is my R500.00 that I paid for the kettle down the drain???
