Customers are abused
We started shopping at Clicks aftere FNB eBucks dumped Dischem and adopted Clicks as their pharmacy partner. Sadly this was one of the biggest mistakes my wife and I have ever made, as after acquiring a Clicks card they have repeatedly sent spam to my wife's email address.
To stop this we have clicked their "unsubscribe" link, but to no avail. I have repeatedly emailed their Clubcard department, but have just received worthless promises, as the spam continues. Even posting comments on their Facebook page and sending them Facebook messenger messages have just been a waste of time.
THEY JUST DON'T CARE, and continue to abuse my wife by sending her this spam.
I have even complained to FNB, but they say their is nothing they can do if their partners abuse customers.
As this has been going on since 18 October 2021, I have written to the Regulator of the POPI act, and they have sent me a Form 5 to complete. However, it is important for others to be aware of Click's ethics regarding their use of one's email address.
