Customer service!!!

I normally go the clicks in the mall I work I received an sms to collect my parcel I've been collecting my parcel's at the same store for the past 2 years I've NEVER been asked for my I.d or license well today I went to collect my parcel and suddenly I'm asked to provide my I.d yes the email and sms does say I need to collect with my I.d or license why wasn't I asked this the very first time I collected my parcel at the store? The lady whom assisted me could have told me this in a professional manner her name is Karabo at the clicks store at Trade Route Mall even she assisted me with a collection without identification before. I'm upset because if the correct process was followed from day one I would have understood. Unfortunately this is the customer service I received. The manner in which she told me is what gets to me because of that I just walked out of the store.
