Clicks USELESS when prescription purchase record requested

I have just spent 4 days going to each of the 4 clicks stores that I have used for purchasing prescription medication, to request proof of prescription medication to include with my 2023 tax return. At 2 of them I was given printouts, the other 2 said they would email me the information, but only one of them did. I subsequently returned to the store that did not give me any info to see if they could do it in person. After a long wait they gave me a printout, but in the end Only one (Clicks Hout Bay) has given me anything that is of use - the others do not have information on prescriptions that I filled, but just totals of what was spent in the store. One of the reports I do not think is even my profile, as it has does not have any name on it and contains 3 things on it, none of which I have ever bought, and none of which are prescription medications..

When you buy prescription meds at clicks there is no record on your till slip of what the prescription costs, it just gets lumped in with everything else. I, and all other tax paying citizens, are required by SARS to produce proof of payments made for prescription drugs if I am to include them in my medical expenses for the year.

Not only was I told I have to physically return to each individual Clicks store where prescriptions were filled to get the necessary documentation (Why can I not access my own information online??) , but then after standing in line and then waiting 10 mins or more (at EACH store) for the pharmacist to work out how to retrieve said information, it turns out that it is largely unusable!! What a Total waste of time and effort!!!! How on earth can this be an acceptable system??? There must be several hundred thousand people in my position!?
