Clicks' suspect pricing

I'm not sure what happened to the review I wrote yesterday, but I'll try again. For some time I've known that Clicks pharmacies have a dual pricing policy, depending on whether you pay cash or by medical aid. When asked about the medical aid price, staff are very evasive, and this has certainly aroused my suspicions. Yesterday morning I decided to have a flu vaccination at a Clicks pharmacy. The advertised price is R125 or 'Funded by your Medical Aid'; staff were equally vague about the medical aid price when asked. When I was presented with the invoice, the charge was R224, an increase of R99 or 79% on the cash price!! I was annoyed enough to have the transaction reversed and walk out without my shopping. Clicks is the only store to practise this duplicity, to my knowledge. I might be missing something so I would appreciate someone from Clicks trying to justify this pricing policy... or must I continue to believe that all this is is another scheme to 'milk' the medical aids.
