Clicks Sunridge Village Dispensary - Poor Service
After affording Clicks Sunridge Village Port Elizabeth a script I was told due to Covid19 I had 12 months to utilise the scripted items. This was in late April 2020. On on the second visit to this Clicks dispensary one of the scripted items was not available and I was told to go to the Walmer 6th Avenue branch. A huge inconvenience for me.. A few days later i was called by Sunridge Village Branch to ask when I was collecting the script. When i explained that I was told to to go to Walmer, the pharmacist mentioned that a 'student' had served me at the Sunridge Village branch. As i use the scripted item in utmost moderation i only returned in late December to collect my script and was told it had expired. I explained that I was told by one of Sunridge Village counter staff that I had a year to use the script due to Covid.
The Pharmacy Manager refused to issue my script (29 December approx. 16H00)
The fact that I now need to schedule and wait for a new R800 + Doctors appointment due to mis-information presented to me by a Clicks Staff member is theft! Of which I cannot afford. The fact that possibly a Clicks 'Student' sent me to other end of town, using my petrol and time to obtain a script is certainly the worst customer service you can offer a customer that affords you their business. Dischem or my local Pharmacy would certainly not do this. Lastly, Dischem would at least try to contact the Pharmacy and at least try rectify the situation knowingly that i only had used two courses of the medication. As a long time customer of Clicks and this branch, I have to say i am bitterly disappointed.
