Clicks Silver Crossing Doesn’t Understand the concept of customer service

I went to Clicks Silver Crossing in Pretoria at 10:00 on Saturday 5 June to collect prescription medicine on a repeat prescription. The entire dispensary was closed. No pharmacist, no locum, no assistant pharmacists. Not a single member of staff in sight at the door to tell customers about it either. I went to a cleaner, since no-one else was around, and was told “they are still waiting for a locum or someone to arrive but they don’t know when”.

All our prescription medication is on record at Clicks and since the medication I was due to collect is for a chronic condition, it is a serious situation because the prescriptions are at Clicks and therefore we are unable to collect it at a different pharmacy without the prescription. Two other Clicks pharmacies in the vicinity didn’t have stock either.

I understand that a new pharmacist was appointed to this Clicks branch. We have lodged complaints about problems at this particular branch with Clicks directly on previous occasions and have been flatly ignored.

Save to say that we will be collecting all our prescriptions and move to Dischem, Van Heerden’ or someone else.
