Clicks - Shell garage partner

I went to one of Clicks partners (Shell petrol garage) in Klerksdorp to fill up only to be told by the petrol attendant that Clicks cards were no longer used there because "contract expired". I was really disappointed because this happened after I filled up. Should I have known, I was not going to used that garage because I go there to fill up and get points Clicks points!! I felt disappointed by lack of communication ( more especially from Clicks).
