Clicks promotional lies

As a loyal clicks customer I base my shopping options on the promotional emails I get sent on a regular basis. Whatever I see on these promotional emails lures me to the store and I get what i was interested in at the price advertised. Unfortunately my last experience was not what I expected. I received an email about the Revlon salon one-step hairdryer and volumiser being priced at R599. Like many other timeS i rushed to clicks to purchase it only to be told it is R1000.00 The price i belived it to be is an online promotion only.The manager at Bay west mall port elizabeth took my details and promised me he would revert back to me by 10 this morning. Ofcourse he did not so i called clicks customer line relaying my issue. I was told by their IT departement this is an online special only. When I asked where does it say it please show me, they could not and apologised for the misunderstanding. What was the apology for tho? Luring me there under false advertising, the manager who never called me, for stock on shelves that was not marked,*********** floor staff who laughed and jeered whilst I displayed my unhappiness,wasting my time and energy. The list is endless. I am no longer a clicks customer.When I asked to be removed from their email list etc , i was told by the consultant i spoke to they required a death certificate. By the way this product is still there displayed at R599 WITH NO INDICATION IT IS STRICTLY AN ONLINE PROMOTION.
