Clicks Pharmacy - Universitas (Netcare)

Let me give you a brief background of my story. In December 2020, Dr Mpofu a dermatologist from Sandton Johannesburg gave me a six months prescription for my acne. This prescription consists of Oratane tablets and a face cream called Protopic. I received this prescription via email in December 2020 while I was at home in Matatiele. This means that I never had the hard copy of the original prescription but I only had the emailed (pdf) version of the original prescription.

I then went to the pharmacy called Bergview Pharmacy in Matatiele where they accepted my pdf prescription and they printed a copy of that prescription which had stickers which showed that I had received my medication for the first 3 months, I used this copy to get my medication from Bergview Pharmacy for the first 3 months. In February 2021, I went to Bloemfontein to study. On the 29th of March 2021 I went to Clicks Pharmacy - Universitas (Netcare) In Bloemfontein to collect my medication (Oratane and Protopic cream) when I got there I presented the copy of the prescription and I explained to them that I have the pdf version of the prescription on my Phone and I was more than willing to provide it at their request. Fortunately the pharmacist assisted me and gave me my medication and she put a sticker on the copy of the prescription to show that I have received that medication for the 4th month. Today on the 28th of April 2021 I went back to Clicks Pharmacy - Universitas (Netcare) to collect my medication (oratane and protopic) for the 5th month. When I got there I presented the same copy of the prescription which contained a sticker from the very same pharmacy showing that I have received that medication for the 4th month. When I got there I was assisted by another different pharmacist who told me that she couldn’t help me because Dr Mpofu had to email the original prescription straight to the Clicks pharmacy, and the Clicks pharmacy cannot accept a pdf prescription from me. I then told them that last time they assisted me while knowing that I had a pdf version of the prescription. This pharmacist told me that maybe the pharmacist who provided me with the medication felt sorry for me because she was not supposed to have given me the medication. However, the very same pharmacist who told me that she cannot assist me has given me the Protopic cream which is one of the medications on my pdf prescription but she has refused to give me the Oratane tablets. This does not make sense at all because in other pharmacies I am allowed to use an emailed prescription. What is more weird is that the very same pharmacist form clicks who told me that she cannot accept my pdf prescription has given me the Protopic cream based on that very same Pdf prescription which she rejected. This means that she has no valid reason for refusing to give me the Oratane tablets. I feel like I am being treated unfairly due to unjustifiable reasons.
