Clicks Pharmacy Hayfields require a script for vermox???

Hi, my mother went to Clicks, Hayfields Pietermaritzburg to get vermox single dose dewormer and the attending pharmacist told her she needs a script which in all my years I have never heard of , only for us to go to another pharmacy and obtain it no hassle. What is wrong? What type of people are being hired as pharmacists that they do not know that Vermox is a otc medication and It was asked for by name.

Terrible stuff from a pharmacy we use very often.
