Clicks’ pathetic stock issues

Clicks Western Cape shelves have been noticeably empty for over a month now. Store managers continue to give different excuses - one says trucks are not arriving, another claims stock has arrived but a new dispatch system is faulty. The stories no longer add up.

Given how busy this time of year is, it is extremely disappointing that a franchise as large as Clicks has not worked around the clock to resolve this issue. Even more concerning is the complete lack of transparency, there has been no public apology or communication to customers. The least that could be done is to put up a notice explaining the situation.

What makes this worse is that promotional signage is still displayed throughout the store while the shelves for those items remain empty. This is misleading and borders on false advertising.

I saved my Ebucks and clicks club card points to collectively pay for my toiletry items this month. But what’s the point if there’s no stock anywhere???? Now I’ve had to do my shopping else where and I’ve lost out on my “bonus money”.
