Clicks pack 18's toilet paper

Hi

I would just like to bring something to everyone's attention. I wanted to buy an item on the Clicks website (pack 18's toilet paper) which was advertised on the website for R84.99, it was on special and the promo said you can buy 2 packs for R139.98 until the 13 April 2021.

However when I checked out to purchase, instead of paying R139.98, the total was R149.99. I inquired about it to the Clicks call center and to my disappointment they told me it was incorrectly advised and since its online they are allowed to change the price without the customer being able to purchase it at the price advertised.

I informed them that when an item is advertise to a customer, whether right or wrong, they are obligated to give it for that price then correct it as they please.

But no, not Clicks, I even spoke to the manager Nizeem Reid (I think my spelling is correct) who confirmed that they do not care at all about what is put on Hello Peter as it does not affect Clicks at all.

I'm hoping that this will open up some peoples eyes about the way Clicks treats their customers, with no respect. And to think I've been shopping at Clicks for so many years and now with my first inquiry to Clicks that have the audacity to treat me like garbage.

Very sad indeed.
