Clicks only honour 12 Month guarantee on Electrical Products

Clicks do not honour manufacturer guarantees on their Electrical products. I bought a Philips Iron with a 2 year warrantee and when I returned it after it broke I was told that they only cover these products for 12 Months and cannot replace my Iron which is 1 year and 8 months old. There is small print on their receipts which states this but this is never communicated to the customer.
