CLICKS ONLINE PROMOTION BUY 1 GET 1 FREE - YOU MUST ADD THE FREE PRODUCT TO YOU BASKET YOURSELF?

Hi, on 8 August 2024 I placed an online order for Salex SSR Refil Kit on promotion buy 1 get 1 free. Collected the order from Clicks 12 August 2024. To my surprise there was only one Salex SSR Refil Kit in the box and not 2 as expected. On further enquiry, from *** I was advised that due to it not being added to my cart as in a physical store to take advantage of this promotion, I only received 1 kit. I am a first time used ordering from clicks online to deliver to a store a product that is on promotion, nowhere it is shown that you must add the "free" product as well and you would presume that it is automatically added to your basket as it is shown buy one get one free. I think this is unfair practice. Especially if it is not indicated that you as the customer should add your own free promotional product. The query has now been sent to their Online Department and it will take 2 days for them to revert back to me. My Order Number is ***.
