Clicks not paying staff!

I worked at this company in 2019 for 2 weeks. I resigned due to the fact that the supervisor/manager at the time Rose informed myself and several others that started at the same time that we will not be getting paid as we started after the 15th after initially telling us on the day we started that we will be getting paid but we started training 3 days before the 15th.

I have recently requested my U19 form from Clicks to apply for my maternity benefits as the UIF system shows that I am still employed by them in which i have not been since 2019 and the form shows that I got paid for my duration I was working there in which I NEVER got paid for. When I queried this there HR dept sent me and amended U19 form showing that they didn't pay me at all after I submitted the initial one that they sent me which is really false information.

I have queried as to why I haven't got paid and there answer is because I never clocked in which is completely incorrect as we had to clock in/out when we arrive and when we go on breaks.

This is really upsetting as we were a few people that left due to us working for free basically because Clicks didn't pay. We handed in resignation letters and now they are flagging it as dismissed.

If you want to work for this company them please be careful as I don't want what happened to me and several others happen to another person as people are desperate for work and Clicks being a huge company cannot even pay people.

I left it initially and accepted that they will never pay me for working there but giving U19 forms with false information has just peeved me off!
