Clicks Norkem Mall Pharmacy pathetic service
Yesterday I went to the pharmacy with an original script that was written by a doctor. I have been taking my scripts, from the same doctor for the same medication for months prior and never had any questions asked.
However, yesterday I was made to feel as if I am a ******** by your staff member, Lobani Mohlala. Upon looking at the script he tells me that the script is not correct and the doctor needs to write it out in some other way.
Keep in mind I have taken about 4/5 scripts to the same pharmacy, written by the same doctor in the very same format yet there were no issues with any of the other pharmacists assisting me.
Mr Lobani insisted that the script is wrong which frustrated me as I am no medical professional and I cannot dictate to a qualified doctor how he should write out a script. This is what I said to Mr Lobani who eventually decided to capture the script on the system.
After printing out the document for me to sign he says he's going to get the previous scripts to check how those were written out. He left me standing there for over 15 minutes, I eventually asked one of the ladies to call him because I was waiting so long and had to go back to work.
Mr Lobani comes out of the back with a whole lot of scripts in his hand and shows me how the scripts of other doctors were written. At which point I was so upset as this medication is taken by my daughter so she can concentrate at school. Where else would I have gotten that script if not from her doctor that is treating her.
He was so rude to me and he even clicked his tongue at me. I asked who was in charge there and he said it was him. How can he be in a senior position when he has no common decency towards customers?
He had so much of an issue with the script yet he never picked up the phone to call the doctor as the doctor's details were on the script.
Another lady that was standing right next to him asked him to stop it as she also witnessed him being rude. I asked if he was going to give me the medication and he said "NO, I WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE MEDICATION" I asked for the script back and also for him to reverse the transaction he put through on my medical aid. And I then left. I did enquire about who Mr Lobani's superior was and was told that she is off sick and he was standing in for her.
I had my daughter with me. He refused to give me the medication my daughter is required to take to focus at school. The child went to school without taking her medication today, all thanks to Mr Lobani.
Today after school, I went to Clicks at Birchleigh North Mall and had no issues whatsoever with the very same script. The gentleman assisted me without any questions or sarcastic comments.
It was the first time I have seen Mr Lobani at the pharmacy at Norkem Mall and I do not wish to see him there again. He is young and makes it seem as if he is overqualified for his job.
I never knew that Clicks pharmacy staff have the authority to deny people medication for which they have valid scripts.
