Clicks Meal Deal Combo Has Exceptions Even Though The Word ANY Is Used

As per the signage and adverts in the pamphlets on the “Meal Deal”, Buy ANY Beverage + health Bar or Chocolate + ANY Snack and get the cheapest one free is misleading as the Clicks Hillcrest manager has advised that there are a lot of exceptions. You can only take the items that are advertised on the pictures displayed.

The context in which the word “ANY” is used in the Above signage would indicate by definition “a number of things” or “not limited” unless otherwise stated. I took an Aquelle beverage, a packet of lays chips and a Kinder-joy Bueno chocolate. All the signage is placed at this items. At the till upon asking why am I not getting the cheapest item free, the manager pointed out that I need to take the items shown in the picture.
